Business Intelligence Analyst/Web Analyst

The Digital Marketing organization is responsible for all digital marketing and CRM within Services & Software's domains such as Games, Music, and Maps. The Digital Marketing organization is part of the Suites Management & Marketing Unit under Services & Software.
We are looking for a highly-analytical individual who is passionate about solving business decisions through data. Our S&S Digital Marketing Analyst will provide strategic perspective, a deep business understanding and outstanding analytical ability to help us develop, drive and monitor the success of our programs.
Analysts will typically focus on multiple business unit platforms and support all facets of the decision making platform (clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate testing analysis).
Responsibilities:
- Support the analytic needs of a business unit by analyzing web traffic using tools such as HBX, Webtrends, Google Analytics etc.
- Be able to provide high level of data analysis and insights using Business Intelligence tools like SAS, SQL, Business Objects etc
- Create holistic dashboards/analysis by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management team.
- Collaborate with external partners and agencies to assist with data collection and reporting.
- Exhibit good level of understanding in driving the data strategy across multiple “listening posts” (websites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, market research etc).
- Consult with senior business leaders to identify issues that can be informed by metrics and analytics and deliver high-quality recommendations to address the issues.
- Identify, define, collect, and track key business metrics for new and existing products.
Required Experience:
Required Experience & Skill Set
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field like Statistics, Economics required. Advanced degree a plus
- 2-4 years of experience solving highly complex problems through data analysis and modeling.
- High level of expertise with Business Intelligence tools, 2-4 years of experience using SAS.
- At least 2-4 years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
- Experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Global mindset and ability to think across disciplines, industries, cultures, scenarios, etc.
