Vice President Analytics - Network Solutions 

Job Description

Network Solutions, LLC, the leading provider of online solutions for small and medium sized businesses who want to be found on the Internet or sell online, and the pioneer of the domain name registration service, offers a full range of Web-related services, including Web hosting, Web site design, e-commerce, search engine marketing, security services, e-mail and domain name registration services.

We are expanding our executive management team by hiring a Vice President of Information and Data Analytics.  This person will directly report to the CEO and be a seasoned analytical professional that mentors and guides our modeling team and acts as a thought leader in applying analytical techniques.  We are looking for someone with a track record of success in the following categories: Reporting & Measurement, Testing & Analysis, Modeling & Targeting and Leadership.

These functions include the following:

• Integrate enterprise (and external) data sources to create the reference repository from which this function, and others, will draw information. 
• Build a competitive intelligence function that will provide deeper insights into our competitors, their strategies and alert and provide interpretation of shifts in their tactics.
• Measure and track the voice of the customer, brand equity, and related measures of how the company is perceived in the market place.
• Define pricing tests that would lead to the optimization of aggregate margin across a single product line, and multiple products.
• Engage in a deep analysis of customer numbers, segments, behaviors and to build predictive models to indicate propensity behavior.
• Provide thought leadership to the company and in particular to Marketing and Product organizations on the tactical marketing and product plans in areas of decision making, risk analysis and management, and forecasting.
• A demonstrated ability to nurture, develop and mentor talent and the inclination to teach the organization how to use these tools would be a strong requirement.
• Build and monitor a common set of return on investment tools and measurements that permits the enterprise to determine results of activities and campaigns.
• Direct the creation of neural networks that significantly automate learning of patterns of customer behavior and product associations that lead to increased sales and margins

Required Experience:

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience in building/developing statistical models in the technology, pharmaceutical, financial services, oil & gas or similar industries
• 3+ years managing a team of analytics professionals 

Position Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

This Job Requires the Following Skills:

• Strong client-facing skills with a track record in delivering complex analytical solutions to solve business problems
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline
