Interactive TV Viewer Metric Analyst
New York, NY
The Interactive TV Viewer Metric Analyst (“Analyst”) will be responsible for collecting, reporting and analyzing user behavior on TV, broadband and mobile interactive applications. The analyst will also track how Ensequence interactive experiences compare to various industry standards, including interactive TV and on-line digital. The analyst will communicate with our customers to assist them in understanding the value proposition associated viewer behaviors of interactivity such as engagement. The Analyst will also interface with highly visible teams at Ensequence such as sales, executive and engineering. The ideal individual is energetic, self directed, highly analytical, an effective communicator, brings innovative ideas and quickly builds relationships within the organization. This position is located in our New York office.
Major Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work with engineering and services groups to ensure appropriate tracking of viewer behaviors within the interactive experience.
• Establish standardized reporting that quantifies the depth and breadth of viewer behaviors in a highly visible, easily interpretable manner that will be provided to our clients.
• Interpret view behaviors vis a vis industry standards (interactive TV, on-line digital) and compare and contrast against these standards.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and assist the sales and business development teams in the sales process.
• Assist in the client consultation process to describe the value proposition that can be interpreted from the viewer behaviors.
• Conduct ad-hoc media analyses as requested. Ad-hoc media projects are frequently complex and require a comprehensive understanding of and the use of financial models and measurements and industry metrics (ratios, rate of return, NPV, Nielsen ratings, cpm analysis, cost per impression and acquisition, click through rates, etc.)
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+ years of combined experience in any one or all of the following areas: advertising research, TV market research, digital market analyses, interactive TV analyses and financial analysis
